This very newborn looking reborn, is a "realborn" partial silicone baby, "Jameson". He is approx. 19 inches in length, and weighs approx. 5.5 lbs. His cloth body is weighted with tiny glass beads, and polyester fiber fill. He has been painted using many layers of platinum silicone A&B, combined with slic pig tints, and a final layer of clear silicone matted with "just matte" matting powder. He is painted in a darker reddy newborn baby color, with some olive undertones, a very newborn color. I did open his mouth, and created the appearance of a tongue ( not the best job), so he can take a preemie sized pacifier*with the use of a silicone friendly lubricant. He has rooted baby brown Slumberland mohair, not mono rooted, I used a 42 gauge, 3 barbed needle to root with,although he does have tiny indentations on his side burn/temple areas , from where the needle had entered the head, I have no idea as to why, but it is somewhat noticeable if you are looking for it. His eyebrows are painted, and his lashes have been rooted to match his hair. His finger/toe nails have been realistically manicured, and glossed for extra protection. He has a small amount of newborn milia, his nose/chin, and a small baby scratch on the right side of his nose/inside of the right forearm, along with a slight stork bite on the center of his forehead,and the back of his neck. There is a red heart behind his right ear, a signature mark, which is put on all the babies that I reborn. This baby is not a childs toy doll, she is a handcrafted piece of artwork, and should be handled with care(as one would a real baby). He will be coming home with some matting powder/blush brush, a pacifier/diapers, and an outfit of my choosing. Please...only seriously interested people should be inquiring about this baby, and ask all/any questions you may have regarding this baby prior to purchasing, I will gladly answer them, if at all possible. Keep in mind that silicone is a non forgiving medium to paint with, and will have imperfections on the skin surface. I do not offer refund, and all my baby sales are final. Please don't consider to purchase, unless you have done your homework on this baby, also... some potential customers might not be aware that close up photos will make the baby look bigger, keep in mind the actual size, in the description, the size of a reborn is measured in its length, not weight, or how big the close up shots make a baby look, just something I needed to put in to protect myself as a seller, P.S. Keep in mind that colors may also vary depending on lighting, ( natural/artificial ) devices used to take photos, and devices used to view this reborn, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
