Americus is a long SOLE reborn sculpt by Laura Lee Eagles. I purchased her directly from her artist (12/2022), Nikol Maris, who is a highly regarded and sought after prototype artist from the Czech Republic EU. This doll is in NEW condition. I changed her today for the purpose of providing sale photos. Otherwise she has not been handled and has been stored away and covered in my temperature controlled room since she arrived. She has the sweetest pouty lips and squinty eyes. Americus is a smaller newborn which is the only reason I am regretfully offering her for sale. I prefer full sized newborns. Her rich dark brown mohair is meticulously directionally rooted one hair at a time. Her eyelashes are rooted as well. She has extensive mottling and veining throughout. Her skin tone is caucasian pink but on the dark side, very much like a newly born baby. Her nails are realistically tipped and glossed. I have taken photos of her undressed to showcase her details. Please inquire if you would like to view them. I took all photos by a window and added two soft boxes with daylight bulbs in them for fill. I have tried to represent her coloring as closely as possible to how she looks in person. Variations will naturally occur due to changes in angle and position. I did not un-assemble this doll but she is perfectly weighted by the artist for maximum pose-ability. I assume she was stuffed with fine glass beads and poly fill.
All of her artist's originals are unused and are still in the gift box that she arrived with. You will experience the box opening as though she came directly from Nikol plus a couple of thank you gifts. Originals include her COA, full anatomically correct girl torso (baby will have to be unassembled to use it), COA, birth certificate, a light brown/white stripped onsie with matching cotton hat and muslin paci cloth, colorful yellow dumbo short-all, a two piece knit in large rose gold, brown and gray stripes, a white Peter Rabbit sleeper, cream Peter Rabbit themed onsie with matching pants and hat, Dumbo sleeper (orange, blue, yellow, white stripes, a thick blanket and magnetic pacifier and pacifier clip.
