I reborned pretty Violet Magdalena from the authentic vinyl kit sculpted by Elisa Marx.
I used RebornFX air dry paints on this cutie, plus Prismacolor pencil to create her hair and eyebrows. Violet Magdalena's Eyeco "polyglass" eyes are brown with a faint violet tint in bright light -- which is why I named her Violet. Her lips, nails, nostrils, and outer eye sockets are all clear glazed for a bit of shine; her nails are white-tipped for realism. I have applied (glued) her lashes.
Violet Magdalena is 19" long and weighted with tiny glass beads in her limbs, abdomen and head to feel like a real baby when held. Her cloth body is firmly stuffed with polyfil. Violet Magdalena's clothing is newborn size.
This doll is priced lower than my usual work because she has a few boo boos. She has a mismark on her forehead, a few mismarks on the rear crown of her head (not entirely hidden by overlying hair), a minor one on the inside tip of a thumb and the inside of one calf. Pleas ask if you need further photos.
There is a magnet glued inside Violet Magdalena's head, in her chin. It was originally behind her mouth to accommodate a modified pacifier but it slipped. Because of the magnet, this doll should never be held by anybody fitted with a pacemaker device.
Violet Magdalena arrives with two outfits (including the one shown), a plush pal, a flannel receiving blanket, a birth certificate and her kit's Certificate of Authenticity.
My home and doll studio are smoke free. There are two cats in residence, so if you are allergic, please pass. I'll do my best but can't 100% guarantee there won't be a stray cat hair or two in Violet Magdalena's package.
