Bixby, what can I say... I love this circus baby, one of my most favorite so far.
Bixby is the little darling of the circus. She is a happy baby, and a delight. She has 12 brothers and sisters, she is the youngest and seems to be fascinated with fireworks and ponies, she squeals with delight on opening night and can be found with an older sibling on the back of a horse waving at everyone as if they were long lost best friends. Her mom Miss Parker is a Bally girl and her father an equestrian director. All her siblings have pink hair, as does her mother, Bixby's green eyes come from her father Aldo and were the same eyes her mother fell in love with in Paris not so long ago.
Bixby is the wonderful Maddie sculpt created by the talented Bonnie Brown. She is a reborn collector favorite. She is 24 inches long, has chubby legs and the sweetest smile. I painted her in deep skin tones, Carmel-olive. She has hair painted in medium and dark brown and it rooted with matching brown mohair, I added some textured hot pink hair I hand dyed. The textured hair holds the dye and keeps it from staining and fading. I would be careful with wet hair and white hats just in case.
Bixby's clothes are embellished by me, I love making circus costumes, she will come fully costumed.
Her clown paint turned out beautifully and is varnished with gloss, three layers.
This little one is magnetized and will come with a Paci. Lightly scented. If you prefer no scent (I do not use wafers I use a mist I created here in my studio) please let me know when ordering.
This baby is for someone who appreciates the unusual. This is an art doll.

Real Reborns are crafted one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought (mass manufactured) doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. (If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if I feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description). The goal is for every baby to be unique in its own way, no other baby will be exactly like it.
Please note that I am a deep painter, somewhere on the spectrum of high color. I adore playing with color.
Saint Cloud babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. I do not weigh each baby, they are filled to be as realistic as possible.
Photography is done in my studio with natural lighting available at the time, if natural light is not available due to weather conditions I will use artificial filtered light. I do my best not to alter photos but from time to time I will include one fun filtered photo. I want you to be able to see what I see. I try to keep photography as honest as we can. I do one photoshoot before I store babies (they are kept protected in a sealed container until they are shipped home).

My babies are magnetized with a strong earth magnet, if you have a pacemaker or are dependent on a medical device please let me know so I can remove the magnet.

Make sure this is the baby you really want before you order. I apologize but I DO NOT do customs (at this time), lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time.
From time to time I will lend or rent a baby to a studio, film or TV company. When the baby is returned I will give it a baby spa to freshen them up (they are always returned in perfect condition (that is the agreement). If this is the case I will disclose that and I will adjust the price to reflect that. I can no disclose the movie or film it was used in as I do sign an NDA.
My babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
(I do have a dog in my home but I do not keep any pets in my studio and my studio is separate from my living space)
