Some babies at the circus arrive late at night under the big tent with the bearded lady in attendance, she also doubles as a midwife and has delivered every circus baby safely.
This little one came at night also but she has a different story.
Esther (the bearded lady) heard the distinct cry of a newborn under a full moon one October, she knew no babies were due in October and was confused. She wrapped herself up in her dressing gown and went to find where the cry was coming from. Just outside her caravan, wrapped in the most beautiful silk scarves was Loona. She was red faced and a bit angry at the cold hair she waved her little fists ,her mouth wide open howling at the moon.
Esther brought her in, warmed her next to her skin, and they fell asleep until dawn.
The next morning the Ring Master's wife who had a three month old of her own offered milk for Loona. Esther had brought so many babies into the world but had never had a child of her own. Loona became the daughter of Esthers heart. Loona would become a midwife and a lover of all creatures, like the Ring Masters wife who trained all the puppies for the dog show. Milk is magic.
Loona is a fun fantasy baby with hair painted in shades medium brown, I not top rooted this baby with some barely there auburn mohair from Russia and a little blue-teal. Loona has medium toned skin, I paint deeply so most of my babies are not fair. She has sweetly painted circus make up that has been sealed with three layers of gloss varnish.
Loona reminded me of a Luna Moth, so I made her some iridescent wings fashioned from Japanese rice paper that I hand painted. They are just for fun and are tied on with a sweet little ribbon, they are easy to remove. I wired them so you can play with how you would like them to look.
This is a sweet limited edition sculpt. Lunas eyes are poly glass. I did not root lashes because the painting detail around her eyes was just enough. She will come with her little dress and sweet footed pajamas.
This little one is magnetized and will come with a Paci. Lightly scented. If you prefer no scent (I do not use wafers I use a mist I created here in my studio) please let me know when ordering.

Real Reborns are crafted one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought (mass manufactured) doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. (If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if I feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description). The goal is for every baby to be unique in its own way, no other baby will be exactly like it.
Please note that I am a deep painter, somewhere on the spectrum of high color. I adore playing with color.
Saint Cloud babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. I do not weigh each baby, they are filled to be as realistic as possible.
Photography is done in my studio with natural lighting available at the time, if natural light is not available due to weather conditions I will use artificial filtered light. I do my best not to alter photos but from time to time I will include one fun filtered photo. I want you to be able to see what I see. I try to keep photography as honest as we can. I do one photoshoot before I store babies (they are kept protected in a sealed container until they are shipped home).

My babies are magnetized with a strong earth magnet, if you have a pacemaker or are dependent on a medical device please let me know so I can remove the magnet.

I apologize but I DO NOT do customs (at this time), lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time.
From time to time I will lend or rent a baby to a studio, film or TV company. When the baby is returned I will give it a baby spa to freshen them up (they are always returned in perfect condition (that is the agreement). If this is the case I will disclose that and I will adjust the price to reflect that. I can no disclose the movie or film it was used in as I do sign an NDA.
My babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
(I do have a dog in my home but I do not keep any pets in my studio and my studio is separate from my living space)
