🌻Daffodil is a reborn BERENGUER brand therapy/ -she has a traditional cloth reborn body -the body is a custom-made white cotton mix body that is soft with some stretch in the material for softness, the pattern was made by me for my budget babies with full limbs, this is a simple body that uses the normal zip ties, etc. The arms and legs move easily. She has weighted limbs/ center body and head like a traditional reborn doll has- she was painted in the manner of original reborn work before blank kits were available. ***PLEASE NOTE: (This is not a factory-painted doll and went through the entire reborn painting process with the entire body- ) -Daffodil was stripped to the base vinyl and completely repainted with full newborn details including - skin tone warmed, veining, and blushing, and nails tipped. The hair has an original line pattern in the base vinyl-the hair was hand painted and light hair details were added at the hairline and double varnished to protect the finish, for frequent handling if she is to be used as a therapy baby. She has full details such as light veining, red mottling, creasing, blushing, hand-painted eyebrows, lashes, and glossed and lightly tipped nail beds and lips. I use Reborn FX air-dry acrylics from Irresistables and varnish by MacPherson Arts & Crafts. Daffodil was fully varnished to seal in the paintwork and details. I did add a magnet for a pacifier- if she is to be used as a therapy baby I can remove it for you, she comes with a magnetic pacifier. She is a cute versatile baby and resembles a regular traditional reborn with her cloth body and weight, she is great for a new or younger collector, a collector who wants something different, etc, or for a budget-friendly therapy doll. She can be used as a play doll (intense rough play is not recommended as she is still an art doll and is hand-painted, she must be handed with care to keep her paint work intact)
