Laura was masterfully brought to life by Paqui Galan, a high end Prototype reborn artist who also teaches Master Classes in rooting. Paqui painted and rooted Laura as a custom doll for me, completed in August of 2022. While waiting for this gorgeous doll I acquired two other high end Laura's. A friend and fellow collector saw photos of Paqui's Laura and asked if I would be willing to sell her when finances allowed. I subsequently received my custom Laura , changed her once for a photo (using strobes; she is in a basket) and tucked her away. Sadly my friend still has other priorities and will not be purchasing her at this time so I have decided to post her for sale as she is in NEW condition and I have other customs in the works. Space is limited. I changed her again today for sale photos and documented her condition. The photos were taken by a window and I added two soft boxes with daylight bulbs as it is cloudy outside. Her skin tone may vary from photo to photo due to the changing light. To my eye Laura's skin tone is Mediterranean with pink undertones. She has dark brown directionally rooted hair and rooted lashes. She has a lovely matte varnish and gorgeous details including mottling, subtle veining, capillaries and delicately tipped nails. If you've experienced Paqui's work you know what a perfectionist she is. Her dolls are highly sought after. Paqui is aware that I am offering Laura for sale and understands the circumstances. I would encourage you to check out her social media platforms where you will see photos of my Laura from last August.
Laura will come with all of her artist originals which are unused and were stored away with the doll when I received her. These will include her COA, birth certificate, magnetic pacifier, tan sleeper, headband, Zara knit romper with matching socks, lovely floral dress with matching bonnet and bloomers, spray bottle, lash comb and lash brush, blanket and teddy. I will also include a couple of outfits of my choosing. I have not re-weighted this doll as she came to me perfectly weighted (on the heavy side). I assume Paqui uses fine glass beads and polyfill for her dolls.
