Colin was created from the beautiful Limited Edition Colin kit by the very talented sculptor Lucy Boiron. He is number 274 of only 1000 worldwide. Colin comes home with with his certificate of authenticity. He is 5 pounds 5 ounces and is 19 inches long . Layers and layers of Air dry paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Colins limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. I have weighted him to be somewhat floppy like a new baby so his head will need to be supported. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. His finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevent chipping. His lips, mouth have been glossed to give a natural moist look. His veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism. I have painted Colin darker as an Indian baby. He has beautiful brown glass eyes. He has full arms and full legs. Colin has baby powder scented wafers in his body that gives that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. His hair has been rooted with premium mohair from delta dawn with a small needle. I have rooted it with 3 different shades of dark browns- black as to create natural highlights. Some of the varnish on his head had flaked when the needle when through head. It decided to leave this feature as many babies have cradle cap on their head which makes flakes and a little bumpy feel. This takes many hours to do but the realism it creates is well worth it. His hair can be lightly moistened to style. Do not wet completely as this can damage paint. His eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. Pretty faint like a newborn. The eyelashes are hand applied to match his hair. All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered except for cropping so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let him get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like him. Colin will come home with only the items listed here and any items in pictures not listed here were used as my photo props and not part of his sale. Colin will come home with his Indian outfit which includes a shirt, pants, hat, belt, beads, and other items that came with the set. He will have his his walking shoes that I have hand painted to match his Indian outfit. I also painted the laces as white didn’t look right. These are a free gift that was hand painted by myself, he will have his red, white and blue tank onesie , his white two piece dressy outfit shirts and shorts. Colin will have his white socks, his grey and white lion sleeper , his magnet modified pacifier, his dinosaur blanket, his diaper ,certificate of authenticity , birth certificate and a care sheet. Colin does have a magnet behind his lips for his modified pacifier so care must be taken around kids, pets, pacemakers and electronics as these are very strong earth magnets. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all of his items may not be new but they were all picked out just for him.
