Sweet baby Laura. I fell in love with this sculpt because of her beautiful face and her delicate little hands are so beautifully and realistically sculpted. I looked forward to bringing her to life for months. Now that’s she’s finished she is the hardest to let go of. I most pleased with her hair. I rooted her with high quality alpaca hair that is so incredibly soft and lays so beautifully. The dark brown color is a rich beautiful color. I painted her with genesis heat set paints giving her a lot of depth and realism and the appearance of veins under the skin. She has rich undertones and soft mottling. She has painted eyebrows and rooted lashes. She curls up in your arms and looks and feels like a real baby. She is weighted with fine round glass beads and poly-fil in all the right places so that you have to hold her head or it will flop like a real baby. She will come home the white and pink Spanish knit outfit in her pictures. White knee high knit socks. The teal knit outfit with hat and matching blanket. I have never lost one before and I do not remember pulling one out of the box when I received it. I do have proof of purchase of the kit from Macpherson’s and can provide that.)
