Painted in several layers and baked at high temperature. Does not use Heat Set Matte Varnish, that why the "skin" is smooth to the touch.
body Baby is made of vinyl (head, hands and legs), the torso is cloth. The doll is not made of silicone !!! Head: the head should be held as with a real baby......
