You are purchasing a completed doll as shown. This is not a kit, but I do mention which kit it was made from. This is a reborn doll from the Jordis kit sculpted by Sabine Altenkirch. He is a sweet boy at 16" to the heel of his curled leg but would be 20" if he could be stretched out.
His actual weight is 4 lbs. 9 oz but feels like a 6 lbs. 9 oz baby. He has painted hair under wispy curly light blonde root for more realism.
He has closed eyes, rooted eyelashes and painted eyebrows.
He has a soft body. He is fully jointed with full arms and full legs and can be posed and dressed in many ways as you can see in his pictures.
He has a magnetic Honeybug pacifier.
He is dressed in a diaper, newborn size little sleeper. He will come wrapped in his blanket. He will also come with a special welcome home gift bag. In that bag you will find many items including a reborn certificate with a blank line for you to name him, and much more in the bag and out. You really will not want to put him down. You will want to cuddle him to gaze at that sweet face!
He has realistic super real look & feel soft vinyl skin. He has been painted so that his skin resembles a real baby, with all the natural blushing and blotching, as well as seeing tiny little veins that appear to be just under the skin. He has been heat set with Genesis paint in many layers. You can see from the pictures how closely his complexion matches mine. I have taken extra care in giving him tiny little veins and capillaries on his face and eyelids as well as a few little stork bites here and there.
He has been weighted to feel as real as can be so he will snuggle right into your arms. He is weighted in all his limbs and head, as well as his body so the weight is distributed evenly and naturally. He is weighted with glass beads and poly pellets. All the limbs have been sealed to prevent shifting of weight. He is priced at a higher price due to the higher cost of these kits and supplies all going up as is everything in our world today. The good thing is that we can sit and rock a little one and just relax and take our mind off the troubles of the day.
This doll is of the same high quality as those you will see at much higher prices. I also try to take accurate pictures of the doll in many light conditions so that you can see exactly what you are getting. Pictures cannot show clearly all the intricate fine detail in the mold and in my enhancements. This is one of the most realistic dolls you will ever find at this price.
I have been making these adorable reborns for many years and try to keep the quality and price at the best to give everyone a chance at owning one of these adorable collectibles. I enjoy creating these little bundles of joy and wish I could keep them all, but I just can’t. Instead, I offer them to you to spread the joy and comfort that these sweet angels can bring your way. Please remember that these are delicate creations of art and not meant to be played with or to be given to children for play. However, if you have a little want to be Mommy who could care for this baby doll as it should be than this would be a gift she will treasure forever!
