A Realborn is a kit sculpted using 3D scans from a real baby. He is the ultimate in realism! Owen is the perfect newborn size. He is 20” long and weighs about 6 and a half pounds.
•He is an all vinyl kit on a soft gathered body. •He has been painted with the original Genesis Heat set paint formula, in deep, newborn tones. •He has been finished with a heat set, matte varnish that is very smooth to the touch. •Owen’s details include: Skin texturing and areas of “dry skin” around his eyes, nose and lips Milk blisters 3D peach fuzz on cheeks and forehead Natural nails Satin finish on nails, eyelids, lips, ears, and nostrils •Owen has a full head of micro-rooted hair. I used the silkiest of mohair from Slumberland in a pale, wavy blonde. His hair can easily be styled into lovely curls with a bit of water and a soft touch. •He has rooted lashes in a similar shade. •All hair is sealed on the inside of head with water proof sealer. •He has a magnet installed for use with a magnetized pacifier *THIS IS A STRONG EARTH MAGNET, so please use caution around sensitive equipment* *Owen is filled with quality Polyfil, and strategically weighted with fine glass beads. He feels just like a newborn when held. His head will need support.
