She has been painted with many layers of Genesis heat set paints and has been sealed. She is a very cute little girl. she has pierced ears and the earrings have not been glued so that you can change if you would like to. However, can pose a choking hazard for small children if they take the earrings out.
I also gave her a scratch on her face, to add a little more realism.
