Now that Baby Bobby is complete, I think of the song "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon when I look at him. He is a beautiful baby and could be a girl just by changing his clothes if that is what you are looking for.
He comes with the COA from Linda Murray but know that his limbs have been switched out. The original Bobby kit came with ¾ limbs but I substituted full limbs that were a perfect fit for him!
This baby is 23” long and weighs 5 pounds 8 ounces. Bobby is just the right size/age baby to have lots of fun posing for pictures!
He has been painted with many layers of Genesis Heat-set paints and sealed with a mat varnish to protect his paint. The layers I painted include creases, veining, mottling, blushing and washes to give his beautiful skin tone. He has been assembled using premium reborning supplies including glass beads specifically for reborning from Bountiful Baby and a premium fiberfill. He has been weighted to feel like a real baby for his size. He is not floppy so that he can be posed sitting up. Baby has beautiful polyglass eyes in a beautiful blue and he has applied lashes. His hair and brows have been painted. Baby smells like a freshly bathed and powdered baby!
Bobby has a strong magnet behind his lips for a magnetic pacifier and he will come with one. There is also a magnet in baby’s head in case you want baby to be a girl – then she can wear hairbows.
Bobby will come home with his magnetic pacifier, a couple of extra powder wafers to keep his baby clothes smelling fresh. An extra surprise for mom, too! Although I have chosen to dress Bobby as a baby boy, the kit is equally cute as a baby girl. If you’d prefer to have this baby come home to you as a girl, please let me know so I can put together an equally spectacular box opening for her!!
