This is Miss Fishy, a toddler circus baby This baby is 23 inches! I lightly weighted limbs, and fully weighted the body with glass beads. Older babies are not fully weighted because of their size and this allows them to be posted for photography, older babies do not have floppy heads. Head and limbs are not empty they just have poly rather than glass beads. Hands and feet do have a small amount of glass.
There are six babies int this series all are older, and have chubby limbs. I originally painted them using air dry but was unhappy with the result so I painted them again using GHSP. I added matte medium to the paint so the I would not risk cracking if I sealed them with airdry varnish.
These are art dolls, they are painted for fun and effect, these are not meant to be a traditional reborns doll, they will need gentle handling.
This baby is costumed in pink, teal and cream. Fishy has rooted hair, the rooted mohair was hand dyed here in my studio. I did varnish clown make up to make it pop a bit. This baby has painted toenails and fingernails in lavender pink.
Fishy is a fun art baby, I made her a flowered swim/ ballet cap that can be removed. She is dressed in a onesie, tights and tutu.
We had a very dark and cloudy day so I did have to use artificial light, but I color corrected to get photos that are as honest as possible, there are a few photos (the last ones) that I had fun using a filter for Instagram.
This baby will be lightly scented using a botanical spray I created here in my studio and will come with a magnetic paci.
This baby is for someone who appreciates the unusual. This is an art doll.

Real Reborns are crafted one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought (mass manufactured) doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. (If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if I feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description). The goal is for every baby to be unique in its own way, no other baby will be exactly like it.
Please note that I am a deep painter, somewhere on the spectrum of high color. I adore playing with color.
Saint Cloud babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. I do not weigh each baby, they are filled to be as realistic as possible.
Photography is done in my studio with natural lighting available at the time, if natural light is not available due to weather conditions I will use artificial filtered light. I do my best not to alter photos but from time to time I will include one fun filtered photo. I want you to be able to see what I see. I try to keep photography as honest as we can. I do one photoshoot before I store babies (they are kept protected in a sealed container until they are shipped home).

My babies are magnetized with a strong earth magnet, if you have a pacemaker or are dependent on a medical device please let me know so I can remove the magnet.

I apologize but I DO NOT do customs (at this time), lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time.
From time to time I will lend or rent a baby to a studio, film or TV company. When the baby is returned I will give it a baby spa to freshen them up (they are always returned in perfect condition (that is the agreement). If this is the case I will disclose that and I will adjust the price to reflect that. I can no disclose the movie or film it was used in as I do sign an NDA.
My babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
(I do have a dog in my home but I do not keep any pets in my studio and my studio is separate from my living space)
