Today we have sweet Polly for sale. This doll is a hybrid of two kits. The head is from the ‘Polly’ kit by Rachel Maynard. This sculpt is nearly impossible to find, and when found, it is almost never in good condition. The arms and legs of this doll are from the ‘Peaches’ kit by Cassie brace. Polly has such a sweet chubby face so I decided to give her matching limbs. Polly is a large newborn at 21.5 inches and around seven pounds (but feels much heavier). She is definitely a solid little girl, with full limbs on a cloth body. She was painted and sealed with heat set paint and rooted with premium quality mohair. Polly can come home as a boy or girl, and will come home with a small box opening themed around that gender. She does have a magnet for a pacifier. Care should be taken around pacemakers, as these magnets are very strong. Please let me know if you need the magnet removed. *note- I salvaged Polly’s head and when it got to me, it had a very faint musty smell. The head has been thoroughly washed and aired out. I do not notice a smell anymore, but wanted to give a warning for those who may have very sensitive noses. Additionally, she has fresh materials and scent beads to give her a nice baby scent.
