This is the story of " Noel”. This Angel is a mini Berenguer 9” sculpt. Her delicate cotton wings are pinned on her dress, she even has a halo! She makes a lovely Angel for Christmas! She is vintage play baby that I have fully reborn. After bathing her, I began painting..... layer by layer, she began to look so very real. I put her on her original body, that was sewed just for her, then we picked out clothes that brought out her soft baby beauty. I took my time, and took many pictures, so the new Mama can see exactly what she looks like.
I decided to use Noels original body, so please see the photos of that. It is not jointed as most reborns are. Also, she is weighted will steel shot, along with glass beads, like artist teddy bears often are. This can make a sound when she moves around.
My babies are made with love, using only the finest supplies, inside and out. I don't take shortcuts that can compromise quality. You will be bringing home a true heirloom when you choose one of my babies. My babies are *high color*. I am inspired by vintage art that features beautiful babies full of color and personality. I don't strive for realism, as this is art for me, and I like to make it my own. My babies are perfectly imperfect. Vintage layettes are worn, sometimes tattered with beautiful imperfections from many years ago. This baby in particular is a vintage play doll and can have slight imperfections. I want you to receive a baby that is truly one of a kind.
