Serenity is a reborn ethnic/AA- with full traditional reborn paint work -she is originally the 17" Tasha Edenholm Sweet Pea So Truly Real Doll Baby by The Ashton-Drake Galleries. Serenity has soft vinyl arms and legs, I re-weighted her with micro glass beads and poly pellets for a softer body area she weight approx 4lbs.
***PLEASE NOTE: (this is not a factory-painted doll /she went through the entire reborn painting process ) -the dolls arms, legs, and face were completely stripped to the base vinyl and repainted with full details including - skin tone warmed, light veining, blushing, lips glossed and painted eyebrows. The hair is the only thing I did not change as it is applied/ glued on and it is in good condition - it is original and has a bow fixed into her hair that is not removable.
Serenity was painted with Reborn Fx air dry paint in a newborn mottled skin tone and sealed. She also has manicured nails, glossed lips, applied eyelashes, and she has her original cloth body which has been re-weighted with fine glass beads and premium polyfil. Her wire armatures were left in her arms and head to allow for great posing options. The head has weight added as well.
Serenity is part of my holiday budget baby group of dolls that I am making and offering at a lower price for gift giving. She would be a great therapy baby, perfect for the upcoming holidays and as a gift to a new collector, young collector, and/or for those who love Ashton Drake dolls or if you just want to add a different kind of reborn to your collection and you have a budget to stick to.
