This is Richard by Ina Volprich. He was painted by Joyce Angel. I purchased him here two weeks ago. He is my second silicone baby and I realize that I would rather have larger babies. This is my reason for relisting this baby. He has been stored in the box he came with along with his accessories and clothing. I have only dressed him once when I received him and then today for the photos I took.
The original artist sold him at a discount from what she would normally sell because she was not satisfied with the way he turned out. I am listing him for a bit less than I paid. You may still find the original listing and pictures if you search for his name. I did find one dark hair/thread that will not brush off of his left cheek. It could or could not come off with some more attention but I don’t want to scratch the paint or mess him up so you may want to consider this before purchasing and if that will bother you, then pass on this baby because I do not recommend trying to scratch it off.
Richard will come home with everything he came to me with except the blue flannel blanket the original artist sent. It had a hole or two and I will send with a replacement. I have photographed him with a mouse lovey. That is just a prop and will not be included. He comes with his sculptors coa.
He is full bodied silicone with male anatomy. He is almost 10 inches, closer to 9 inches. He is very floppy and is bald with lightly rooted eyelashes. He is painted with splotchy newborn skin tones with some veining here and there.
I will send him home to you the way he was received by me. Carefully wrapped and secure. I will require insurance and signature.
