My fourth venture into silicone painting brings us this sweet faced silicone cuddle baby who is ultra snuggly!
Nivia is a lovely newborn sized baby with a silicone head and a fully cloth body. Nivia was sculpted by Daniela Havlova and poured by Bobbi Barfoot of TruBorns in EcoFlex 20 silicone. She has been painted with Psycho silicone paints, Enfis pigments, and matted with D3 creations Just Matte silicone matting powder.
Nivia is on a Macpherson's 20 inch Cuddle Body that has been weighted with two sizes of glass beads and premium polyfil. She feels just like a real baby in your arms, with a heavy head that needs supported just like a real baby.
Her mouth has been opened to take a full size newborn pacifier. She has faintly painted brows and rooted mohair eyelashes. Her lips and the inner corners of her eyes have been glossed for realism.
Every baby is a learning experience, and Nivia was no different. Her matting on the creases on the back of her neck has gathered. It looks like dry skin effect, but her price still reflects this and a photo is included in the listing. Her matting on her face is a bit thicker than I would prefer as well (first time using the Just Matte product) but is nothing overly noticeable.
Nivia will come home with her COA, pictured Kate Quinn gown, bow pictured, sample of matting powder for touch ups, receiving blanket, pacifier, and extras of my choosing.
