This kit is the 'Realborn Johannah Awake' sculpt by Bountiful Baby. She is a fully completed and assembled reborn baby that has been professionally artist-painted and individually weighted to closely replicate a newborn baby girl. She is approximately 19 inches long and 5.5 pounds. She has cloth arms and legs attached to a jointed, soft cloth body that makes her snuggle like a real baby. Her layered skin tone was created using Genesis Heat Set Paints that give off no odor. She has subtle blue undertones and veining, hand-painted eyebrows, rooted top and bottom lashes, and tiny capillaries. Her paint has been sealed with a mix of multiple Genesis Heat Set varnishes that leave her skin looking matte, but alive. She has totally amazing curly black hair that was micro-rooted to have a sparse, baby look.
Every doll I make is weighted and stuffed using tiny glass beads in the head and body, and premium poly-fil to give each a soft, squishy feel that will make anyone want to hold them. Johannah's head is on a cuddle body, and her cloth limbs have been weighted with plastic polypellets and glass beads contained in fabric. Johannah has been uniquely stuffed to give her an especially lifelike floppy feel as she nestles into your arms, but this means that she will need to be held carefully with her head supported, just like a real baby in order to protect her neck.
Johannah will come home to you in the white sleeper pictured. She will come home with a diaper, a COA, care instructions, a personalized birth certificate, and a few extras. If you would like to change her name and birth certificate to something special to you, I am happy to customize it for you.
