"Nanook" is ready for adoption! He has been painted with many layers of Genesis Heat Set paints and micro-rooted with fine, extra soft, premium mohair in a mix of dark brown and black. He has rooted eye-brows and applied eye-lashes to match his hair color. He has been weighted with fine glass beads and poly-fill to give him a real baby weighted feel. He has light brown glass eyes. He has been coated in a matte varnish and has glossed lips and nails. I want to point out that he comes from a seconds Blinkin Boy kit and the only differential I noticed was that he has a misshapen toe on his right foot which I added a "bruise" to. He is also my first attempt at painting an ethnic reborn. Nanook will come home with his cute little outfit, baby blanket, and stuffed toy seal along with some extras.
