There is a spot on her left cheek (right if you are looking at her straight on) where the paint did not adhere well that looks like vitiligo a skin condition in which the skin loses its pigment cells. It is in the shape of a circle and can be seen in some of the photos. Since this happened,the entire doll has been sealed to prevent this from happening in other areas.

The Paint:
Painted with: Ultimate Fusion Air Dry Paints which is a paint system that is water based with no dangerous chemicals. It does not need to be heat set or baked, it dries naturally in the air and is permanent. It is very durable and when used properly gives each reborn doll a very realistic complexion
The Skin:
Izzy has a very realistic skin complexion like a real baby. Many thin layers of paint were added to make the skin transparent and lifelike. Izzy was painted with many delicate layers of my own mixes of Ultimate Fusion paints.
The hair:
Izzy has beautiful rooted baby dark brown hair made out of premium angora kid mohair. The mohair is shiny and very soft much like a real babies hair and is washed and processed over 20 times to insure the color is permanent. Rooting this beautiful baby took many hours of concentration as each hair was lovingly put in individually. Her hair can be styled in many different ways, one being cuter than the next.
Izzy's hair is very easy to maintain and can be restyled with water mixed with a little conditioner in a spray bottle. Irresistables sells the best mohair conditioner and styling aid on our web-site that I used throughout the rooting and styling process of Izzy's hair. Izzy's hair has been sealed from within with special glue on the inside of her head so that her hair can be gently washed, brushed and combed and will not come out.
