Introducing Meadow by Andrea Arcello, born on March 15, 2022. She was painted with many GHSP layers to achieve the classic “mocha baby” look. She was rooted with wavy, dark brown angora mohair and sealed from the inside, however, care must still be used when combing and styling. Eyelashes are rooted with mohair as well. She has round glass eyes in color brown. She is weighted with angel soft polyfil and fine glass beads.
Because this doll is a handmade, one of a kind item, I do NOT offer refunds for any reason. She will be carefully packaged and delivered to you with signature confirmation. I will also record video snippets of her being packaged up carefully BEFORE she is sent out to protect myself as an artist and seller.
Please read the description carefully and review all photos before committing to purchasing. She will also come with a blanket or cocoon and a few outfits of my choice. Outfit pictured is used as prop item only and is not included. She is magnetized to take a pacifier and will include both a pacifier and clip in the package.
It is important to note that imperfections do exist and can arise in vinyl reborn kits as they are baked multiple times. This is normal. Again, I’d like to reiterate that because this is a HAND MADE, HAND CRAFTED piece of art, she will not be “factory perfect.” You will find natural but minor imperfections that come with reborning dolls. This particular kit has flaws on the hands and arms, as well as underneath her right arm. They look like slight “stains” that are not part of my paint work. I have taken several photos of them in daylight lighting so you can review them closely before purchasing.
The price is set accordingly as ethnic reborns take much more time to make. She has been carefully sealed with a mix of both satin and matte varnish and pounced with a textured sponge over her face and limbs to give a slightly gritty feel on her skin. Her paint will stay in tact for many years to come as long as she is cared for like a real newborn. Also important to note, depending on the climate of the area you live in (humid, dry, etc.) you might notice some of the varnish flaking off in spots on the body (looks like dry skin, I like to use this varnish to get this effect) This is normal and not part of the painting. You can gently wipe away with some water and dawn soap.
