This baby's sculpt was made with a photogenic scan of a real baby! His every crease and fold in his skin was captured perfectly to create this incredibly realistic baby. 💖
Measuring at 19.5 inches long, and weighing a hefty 6 pounds, 14oz! Rooted with two different colored mohairs to give a more realistic look, including a newborn bare spot on the back of the head where his head rests, just like a real newborn baby. *Most photos he has damp hair, and the last photo he has dry hair.*
I tried a couple new painting techniques on him, and I'm really happy with how he turned out. He has more layers, for sure. I put a skin texture on his face, and I absolutely love how real it makes him look! He definitely has less of a smooth doll texture on his face and more of a baby skin/peeling/thicker, just-born look. I love it!!!! He looks SO REAL!!! 😍
I'll admit, I was not the best with the nails this time around. I don't know what I did differently there, but it is very minor and maybe just an artist being hard on herself problem. haha. I figure I should note it just in case, anyway.
You have to support his head when you hold him, just like a real newborn! And he does take a magnetic pacifier (which is included.) He can be a boy or a girl! 💙❤️ Will come home with the outfits pictured, a magnetic pacifier, blanket, newborn hospital hat, 2 extra diapers, COA, and care info.
* He is currently stuffed a bit stiffer/solid style (except for his neck, for movement purposes), even though I generally stuff very loosely for a very realistic, floppy feel. If you would like him to be a bit more floppy, just let me know when you purchase and I can change to your desired stuffing style!* ❤️
