Hi my name is Donna Engle. I am new to reborning, but not to art. I have a A.A. Degree in Fine Arts from Palm Beach State College. I went into Photography after graduation, and had my own Photography Business called "Unique Children's Photography," but I always painted on the side. Later I worked in the healthcare field, then for "Talking Books for the Blind and Disabled." After I retired I took care of my Mom who had Alzheimer's, and this is how I got interested in Reborns. I was trying to find something to make her life better and came across Reborns on the internet. I bought her the smiling baby Vivienne, by Sandy Faber. My Mom loved that baby, she would sing to it and even make up little songs to sing to her baby. In time, when she couldn't communicate with us, she would talk to her baby. I saw the comfort it brought her, and I wanted to do the same for others through my art. I really found something I love doing, that I hope can be a benefit to others. My reborns are carefully made using the best materials, and if properly handled should bring joy for years to come.
