Hi, my name is Cynthia but I also go by Cyndi, I am the creator of Heavenly Sweet Reborns which I started when I first started selling my reborns on Facebook in 2018. I have been painting vinyl for over 10 years now, I first started as a collector but was never happy with the ones I purchased so I would take them apart and remake them to my likings. I enjoy it more today as when I first started and I believe you have to love what you do to continue and strive to better your artistry. I still learn new techniques and experiment with different skin tones and shading, and over the past 2 years I have taken classes and successfully achieved the art of painting silicone baby’s.
My personal favorite reborns are toddlers and child size but still complete a few newborns per month. Currently I am accepting custom orders but I have to limit them to a few each month. I do have many repeat customers that continually add to their collection also but still would love to keep options open to a new challenge.
I take pride and put much love into each baby that I create, I use multiple layers of heat set paints for undertones, mottling, and the right amount of shading to bring each baby to life. I then seal twice with matte varnish to help protect each masterpiece. I also root each baby using 100% human hair on toddlers and mohair on newborns. Eyebrows and lashes are also rooted. I use the highest quality of glass beads and fiberfill to complete each baby, and I weight the baby to the weight that a real baby of same age would weigh.
Once one of my babies is adopted I carefully wrap in blanket or bubble wrap along with care instructions, hair care instruction, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Authenticity, outfits, accessories and other miscellaneous items to make an enjoyable box opening.
