Hello! Welcome to my nursery, my name is Shannon and I am the sole artist at Lotus Reborn. I have always had dolls in my life as my mom collects Ginny’s and Madame Alexander’s. She also gave my sister and I several lifelike dolls made to look like us!
I discovered reborn babies around 2014 and ordered my first one. Almost immediately I decided this was something I wanted to create to bring joy and healing to others. I had to stop, however, due to time and energy constraints.
I began again in 2021 after stress from the pandemic plus issues at work became overwhelming and led to me leaving my job. I was also subsequently diagnosed as being on the Autism spectrum (Formerly known as Aspergers) and am now hoping to make reborning my full-time pursuit.

I greatly enjoy making each baby and am glad to have found this respite from the anxiety and depression I have been experiencing for so many years. I love each of my babies and put lots of care and details into each one. Even my little baldies have mottling, veins and blushing on their heads to add to the realism. My hope is that these babies will bring joy to their new mommies (and/or daddies;) and that the love and care I pour in will shine through the vinyl and paint of each baby I create.
