Hello my friends call me Dawnie I was born in Chester England but migrated to Austyali at the age of 2. Mother of 2 beautiful young men and GiGi to a beautiful 2 year old granddaughter, right now I am a carer for my 90 year old mum. I have been a reborn Artist since 2019 back in my 20's I studied at Geelong school of fine art 3 years and then in my 30's I did 6 years of interior design and then building design with honor's in presentation drawing, former Gallery Owner/Picture framer/ Art teacher and dabble in photography. I picked up my 1st paint brush at the age of 6 and never looked back, painting for me is my Happy Place it just comes naturally I can drawn almost anything but don't ask me to drawn a straight line. Painting these incredible 3D baby sculpts bring me much pleasure and joy and I can't think of a better way to pass time. I do the occasional custom and work 6 days a week during daylight hours. I have studied under Shaylen Maxwell, Sue Ellen Tamara and have been lucky enough to have had Sherry O'Connor Hawkins as both mentor and friend. I work exclusively with genesis heat set paints and each Bub is sealed with a matte varnish , I prefer to use babylocks mohair for rooting and each baby is weighted with fine tumble glass weights and quality polyfill. My reborn Art Doll's are done in finished to high standard all will come with a COA . As an Artist I have painted the same doll many times over each is different and unique in it's own way.
