My name is Kathleen Corcoran and I have been reborning babies under the nursery name of Forever Babies for 20 years now. I use only the best quality Genesis heat set paints to color my babies, often I have to 'color correct' the vinyl to give it a more natural flesh tone. Once the baby is all painted I begin the lengthy process of rooting the hair. I use very high quality mohair or human hair. The baby is then given a new jointed body that I stuff with the softest polyfil surrounding a sealed bag of new plastic pellets. I weigh the limbs with tiny glass pellets and polyfil to give them weight. It generally takes me 30-40 hours to finish a baby. I love this art just as much now as I did when I first started early in 2002! I strive to offer the highest quality babies so that they will be my adoptive mom's Forever Baby. All my babies are created in my smoke free/pet free home.
