When I first saw this sculpt I thought of the faces of the dolls I had growing up in the 60’s. I decided to paint this little sweetie with a vintage look.
*** Lisa is a cuddle/snuggle baby reborn with a body and limbs that are a light flesh colored fabric with soft posable limbs that are lightly filled and weighted with glass beads and poly fil. Lisa is a petite little girl weighing 4 pounds, 3 oz. and is 18 inches long. She is moderately stuffed and is very soft and cuddly : ) Her head was painted using many thin layers of durable acrylic Ultimate Fusion air dry paints to create a lovely baby skin-tone with light mottling, veining and capillaries added for realism. Her hair and eyebrows have been softly painted in several shades of medium brown with hand rooted dark brown eyelashes and has blue poly glass eyes. Baby has a magnetic paci and CAUTION should be taken around electronics and individuals with pacemakers.

No sand is ever used in any of my babies. Babies are made in a nonsmoking home. I do have 2 cats, although, they are not allowed in the nursery. Please consider this if you have severe cat allergies.
