This is Fauna the enchanted fairy elf. She is the Realborn Priscilla sculpt with modified ears. She was made using 3d imagery from an actual newborn baby. Fauna is apps 19 inches vinyl and has a cloth body weighted with glass. She has very delicate features and is a really pretty baby.
Fauna is painted in a fair skin tone and has freckles on her face and limbs. Fauna is an art doll but she is painted with realism in mind. She has lovely painted hair and is top rooted in two shades of Russian mohair. She is not mono or micro rooted but she is sparsely and directionally rooted for added softness.
This sweet elf is magnetized and lightly scented using a perfume made by me here at saint cloud that does not contain any harsh chemicals or artificial scent.
The modifications to this babies ears are lovely but experimental, her price does reflect that. This is an art doll, not meant for rough handling, her ears are very fragile and great care needs to be taken when dressing her.
I will be sending her in the dress she is photographed in and her pretty pajamas. Her dress fits a little loose but it is new and has not been laundered yet, if you wash it in hot water it will shrink down perfectly, it is a sweet cotton dress and bottoms.
She will come with her fairy headband.

Real Reborns are crafted one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought (mass manufactured) doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. (If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if I feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description). The goal is for every baby to be unique in its own way, no other baby will be exactly like it.
Please note that I am a deep painter, somewhere on the spectrum of high color. I adore playing with color.
Saint Cloud babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. I do not weigh each baby, they are filled to be as realistic as possible. If this is meant to be a therapy doll let me know so I can make the baby lighter for you. The sculpts I use are crafted by artists and purchased from a reputable dealer.
Photography is done in my studio with natural lighting available at the time, if natural light is not available due to weather conditions I will use artificial filtered light. I do my best not to alter photos but from time to time I will include one fun filtered photo. I want you to be able to see what I see. I try to keep photography as honest as we can. I do one photoshoot before I store babies (they are kept protected in a sealed container until they are shipped home).

Babies will come home dressed in pajamas and wrapped in a soft blanket. They will also arrive with a coming home outfit that may or may not be the clothes they were photographed in. I do photograph with some vintage prop clothing from time to time and that will stay in the nursery but the baby will come home in something sweet and well made.
My babies are magnetized with a strong earth magnet, if you have a pacemaker or are dependent on a medical device please let me know so I can remove the magnet.

Make sure this is the baby you really want before you order. I apologize but I DO NOT do customs (at this time), lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time.
From time to time I will lend or rent a baby to a studio, film or TV company. When the baby is returned I will give it a baby spa to freshen them up (they are always returned in perfect condition (that is the agreement). If this is the case I will disclose that and I will adjust the price to reflect that. I can no disclose the movie or film it was used in as I do sign an NDA.
I no longer sell elaborate box opening packages. I find that a lot of new mommies like to shop and nest for things they love. I would also rather spend my time painting babies than shopping for them, I think its a very personal and helps bonding. Saint Cloud does deliver a lovely box suitable for gift giving.
My babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
(I do have a dog in my home but I do not keep any pets in my studio and my studio is separate from my living space)
