If you want a very realistic-looking sweet newborn baby boy, Luise is the one for you. He's adorable and feels like a real infant. Luise is about 5 and a half pounds and 19 inches. He will need his head supported. Luise is a limited edition #288 of #999. Paige Hehn of Mother Rabbit's Nursery on this site is the artist and she did an exceptional job adding many details to this baby. Sadly I've found that I'm not a reborn boy mom and so I'm selling this like-new baby at a significant loss so he can be loved by a new mommy. Luise has been in my baby haven that only I enter (no kids, no kitten) and only taken out only for photos. I've tried to capture his beauty and details in different lighting.
His fair complexion was created using reborn Fx paint. His skin is mottled and he has visible veins and capillaries. He has very subtle milia on his nose and blushing in the right places. Luise has glossed nostrils, lips and lightly in the ears. He has very nicely manicured finger and toe nails. Luise's hair is painted with many layers to achieve a nice medium to dark brown color. His eyelashes are thickly rooted with dark brown mohair and sealed inside. He has a magnet glued behind his mouth so he can take his magnetic pacifier. Lastly, he was finished with a matte varnish that gives him smooth "skin" and protects the paint. Please note the intentional scratch on the back of his head in one of the pictures. It is painted over with hair and meant to be there for added realism.
Luise will arrive home with his COA, magnetic pacifier, 5 piece Will'beth outfit including bonnet and booties, 3 piece Mommy and Me outfit with hat and socks, and a onesie. Please let me know if you have questions.
