Brand new, Meki is an Asian/bi-racial newborn ready to fly my studio coop and into the loving arms of a new family. She (or he -- your choice) is 18" long and three pounds of huggable baby sweetness!
Meki has been hand painted using layers of air dry acrylics (Reborn FX), plus Prismacolor Premiere artist grade pencils. Meki is finished in multiple coats of sealers and matt varnish. The doe suede cuddler body is from MacPhersons, weighted with fine glass beads and stuffed with polyfill. Meki does not have a COA, but the sculptor's name is engraved on the back of her neck. The eyelashes are applied, the lovely brown eyes are acrylic. On very close inspection, this wee one has a tiny white spot above the right side of the mouth and a small, faint white streak below, both of which are dried matt varnish. I chose to leave these "as" is rather than scratch the surface removing it. Meki's price reflects this small imperfection. Please look closely at the photos.
Meki arrives with the gray and green sleepers shown, plus the white bear ears cap, teddy, scratch mitts and striped beanie. Your baby will have a few diapers, a printed care sheet and a flannel receiving blanket. Meki is not magnetized to take a pacifier.
My non-smoking studio is visited by resident cats.
