Here she is! Realborn Alyssa! I’m so excited to show you all this precious sleeping beauty. I have been furthering my education in reborn art and recently enrolled in advanced painting courses. I painted this doll with the newly learned education I received from these courses. New techniques and different tools has given this doll even more life like features. Since some of these things were new to me Alyssa is not perfect but she is beautiful and anything that is less than perfect is not very noticeable at all. She is not considered a boo boo baby. I will also add that her kit had a minor flaw on the toes on one foot where the color took more on some rough/textured areas. These rough areas are also present on my second kit of the same baby so it is a flaw within the kit that I had no control over. Again, it’s minor in my opinion.
I look forward to using these newly learned skills on future dolls to make them even more realistic. This doll will have reduced pricing since these techniques were new to me.

Skin Tones~ Many thin translucent layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints have been individually heat set for each layer to build up a realistic baby toned skin with a newborn complexion and delicate veining and mottling. Creases have been highlighted and shaded. Her nails are detailed and nicely manicured. This doll has been sealed with an anti shine matte varnish Hair~ The hair is hand painted. Lashes are hand rooted. The eyebrows are hand painted. Weighing & Filling~ This baby has a tan non-jointed body filled with a combination of micro fine glass beads and premium soft fiber fill to give a realistic weight and feel. The limbs have been appropriately balanced and weighted with micro fine glass beads and topped with fiber fill. The head is weighted with premium glass beads and surrounded with fiber fill. There is a magnet fitted within the head to hold a magnetic pacifier. Be aware of this when this doll is around those with pacemakers. Alyssa will come home with : A petite box opening and COA
