Baby's "skin" is soft and smooth to the touch. Baby is a high quality artists doll and is not suitable for children. Magnets are strong and can be removed if requested. Baby is sealed with artist grade matte indoor/outdoor sealer. However, care should be taken with dark clothing (dye transfer) sharp objects, friction, pets etc. As with any collectable art in your home, care should be taken.
