Callum was made from the vinyl Realborn Callie Asleep sculpt. The doll has a vinyl head with full vinyl arms and full vinyl legs on a cuddly cloth body. Callum is 17 inches long and weighs around 5 pounds.. He wears newborn-sized clothes.

Callum has been painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints, including brown painted hair. Callum’s Caucasian skintone was achieved by a sixteen layer process that includes creasing and shading, undertones, subtle veining, mottling, blushing, glossing, and sealing. He has rooted brown lashes. There is a strong magnet behind his lips for a pacifier. His body, head, and limbs have been realistically weighted with fine glass beads, then stuffed with polyfill. You must support the head like a real newborn.
