Josey was created from the realborn 3 month Joseph awake kit . Josey has a partial vinyl torso that covers the top part of her body with a cloth body inside that head and arms attatch to. Her legs attatch to the cloth body like normal. Layers and layers of Premium Airdry Ultimate Fusion paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Josey's limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body is filled with the the same mixture.I put another weighting bag in the neck going into the body and just stuffed the head with fiberfill so that she can sit up without her head flopping around. She can sit up and stand some next to an object. she can not stand on her own. Because she has a partial vinyl body she will not be as soft and floppy as a baby with just a cloth body but the realism with posing and displaying is georgous. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevet chipping.. Her lips have been glossed to give a natural moist look. Her veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism . Josey has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. Her hair has been rooted in a natural swirl pattern with premium mohair from both delta dawn and reborn1949. It can be combed straight or dampened and fluffed with fingers to make it curly. I have left it long so she can have pony tails and so many fun hairstyles. Her eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. Her eyelashes have been hand applied with lashes to match her hair .
All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered so you can see what baby actually looks like. She does not have a certificate of authenticity as she is a seconds kit from bountiful babies. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all items may not be brand new but all were picked out just for her.
