This sweet little boy is Sam Special Limited Edition No 429/500 by Gudrun Legler. The body is exclusively signed by the sculptor.
I have painted him with many thin layers of GHSP and carefully sealed him with two layers of GHS varnishes. He has a light skin tone with delicate newborn mottling, veins like running under the skin, creases, finger-, and toe nails, very fine milias, micro veins on his eyelid and in the ears.
Baby Sam is approx. 19" long with full arms and full legs. He has a flesh tone doe suede body. His body is realistically weighted and is about 5.16 lbs (2341 gramms), head, body and limbs are weighted by quality ultra fine and fine glass beads and fine fiberfill. I filled his little body loosely so she is realistically floppy like a real baby. He has a neck ring also which allows for ease of head turning and added strength on the neck flange. His hair is carefully and directionally mono rooted with high quality, very delicate light brown HP mohair. Each hair were strategically placed one hair in one poke. Hair and eyelashes are sealed with waterproof glue from the inside. Sweet little Sam will arrive home with three beautiful and brand new outfits, reborn certificate, COA signed by the sculptor, care instructions, magnetic pacifier and some extras with a beautiful box opening. Baby wears newborn size clothes. He was born on the 12nd of February 2021 in a non smoking and pet friendly environment.
