I adopted Adelina directly from her artist December of 2019. I have adopted several dolls from this artist as her workmanship is incredible!
Adelina just wants to be cuddled, poor baby. Details such as veining, generous blushing and deep creasing, rooted eyelashes, and realistically painted hair, milk spots and nails.
As a baby who is a bit crabby having been woken up to have her picture taken, this version of Adelina is more blushed than you might typically see on a sleeping baby. Although I do not appreciate the deep red creasing, it certainly does not detract from her beauty. I would say that Adelina is on a warmer color palette. If you do not care for blushing, or a warmer/pinkish baby, please do not purchase her.
She also has a magnified mouth for a pacifier and the two pacifiers that Gilly sent will be included. Please note that Gilly placed this magnet below the lips which makes using a magnetic pacifier more difficult. I personally do not use pacifiers on my dolls but I want to mention that this is the case with Adelina. Pacifiers will need to be modified with a lower position, or the magnet will need to be removed from the doll and replaced higher up. This is something I will not offer to do.
Please note!! This doll has never been taken apart, but I know Gilly uses glass beads and fiber polyfill. Her feedback of her work is always positive!!
This is a beautiful full limb sculpt and she will make a wonderful addition to your collection.
Adelina will come home in the outfit that she is wearing. A long sleeve white onesie, a vintage baby snoopy dress, socks, a hair bow, and 2 pacifiers. I am also sending her home with a new traveling companion wrapped in a pink plush blanket that was her original blanket. Her Precious Baban Birth certificate will also be sent. As an open edition, there is no COA from the artist.
I am selling Adelina "AS IS" and refunds will not be acknowledged. Look at all of the provided photos and inbox me if you have any questions that I have not addressed.
