This little, happy, kiddo was created using the Adele kit by Ping Lau. Her entire upper body (head, chest, arms) are made of vinyl and attached inside using special connectors which allows free movement of the arms and head. You can even cock her head to the side or raise her arms up as if she is asking to be picked up. On the bottom she has a cloth body that her legs and torso attach to. Her legs are jointed where they attach so they move quite freely. Due to her upper torso she will look adorable in tank tops and swimming suits. All this is demonstrated in the pictures below.
She has been rooted with high quality, angora, mohair in a light blonde. The hair has been rooted lightly which is typical of a baby her age. Her hair is naturally curly and only needs light, gentle styling. She also has lightly rooted, black mohair, eyelashes which frame her beautiful, glass green eyes. I have weighted her arms, legs, lower body, and upper torso to a bit over 9 pounds. She sits up beautifully but would be better displayed, for long periods of time, laying down or in a reclined position to prevent her upper body from pushing too much on the, softer, lower part. This baby was meant for a collector and not for rough play.
She has been carefully painted in a realistic, pale, skin tone with veining and is well varnished with light texture. I don't add a lot of unnatural nail tips, what does show is very light. Her nails are lightly glossed as are her eyes and her smiling mouth.
If you like Adele could be a little boy, just let me know and I will send him home with boy stuff. She comes home with a box opening that includes all that you see in the pictures, aside from props, and more. She will bring a plush Zebra, magnetic pacifier (there is a magnet inside the head) and a paci leash made by my daughter Madeline. Since its winter in most parts of the world I knit a special hat to go home with all my babies. This kit does not have a COA but will come home with a birth certificate and other paperwork plus a special treat for the new parent (s).
