This baby is a replica of a real baby. She has been painted with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints, each layer baked to set the individual layers for durability. She has beautiful underskin mottling and veining. Some capillaries have been added for realism. Then she has been varnished with either matte or satin varnish for added durability which also gives her skin a texture and feel of real skin.
Her little nails have been tipped and sealed on both hands and feet. Her mouth, nose and eyes have been glossed, again for added realism. She has black rooted hair that can be dampened and styled as it is sealed on the inside. She has painted eyebrows and applied lashes. This baby has full arms and bent legs that rotate easily for posing. She has been fitted with a magnetic pacifier with a strong magnet inside her head so should not be close to someone with a pacemaker.
She has a wafer inside her body that gives her that permanent baby smell.
This baby should not be played with by young children as it has been weighted with small glass beads, poly fill and has the magnets. These babies are not toys. All my babies come from a smoke free home.
She wears preemie/newborn clothing.
She will be coming home with the following: a receiving blanket a onsie one added item of clothing of the artist's choice magnetic pacifier a few little surprises birth certificate (with the name space left blank so mommy or daddy can name her) COA care instructions
Clothing sent home with this baby are new but have been washed once to remove the chemicals the manufacturer may have used.
This doll can be sent home as a boy instead of a girl if preferred. Please let me know if this is the case. Right now, I do dress all my babies as girls.
