Baby’s Stats: Date of reborn: 9/5/2020 Time: 2:36 P.M. Weight: 7 pounds Length: 22 inches with slightly bent legs
Limbs: Full length arms and legs which means many clothing options. NOTE** due to the weight of the limbs, I had to secure the ties for her limbs very tightly because they would pop out of place. So her arms and legs do not move into new positions. Her head is much lighter and turns from side to side. Her head is NOT weighted with glass beads like her limbs are because I wanted her to sit up and not flop because she is a toddler. Her head is filled firmly with polyfill. You can see from pictures that she sits and lies naturally even though limbs don’t move but if this is a concern for you, please pass on purchasing. I am including extra zip ties in case you need them. Body: Doe Suede cloth with zip ties; Bottom stamped with my nursery logo. Fillings: Very tiny glass beads in limbs and topped with polyfill. Larger glass beads in torso which are enclosed in a double sealed nylon pouch for even and realistic weighting. Body and head are filled with Polyfill. Paints: Genesis Heat Set Paints are used in many translucent layers with mottling, veining and blushing in the right places. Dewy Skin Sealer is used to finish the baby providing a slight sheen and texture. Hair: High quality dark brown mohair has been rooted with a fourty gauge needle and sealed on the inside with waterproof glue. Hair may be brushed very carefully by using water or mohair conditioner with a baby brush or fingers. Eyelashes: Hand applied in medium brown. Eyebrows: Painted in a complementary brown color. Lips and nails: Painted realistically and topped with air dry gloss. Baby’s nostrils have an added bit of gloss in them as well. Magnets: YES. Baby Alice has a strong earth magnet inserted for her pacifier. **Use caution around electronic devices, young children and people with pacemakers. Clothing: 3 months to 3-6 months.
Coming home with baby Alice: The plaid bubble suit seen in pictures, bright pink bodysuit seen in pictures, two diapers (One is wearing. Diapers may not be the same design or brand.), lovey, cozy blanket, magnetic pacifier and head band, birth certificate and care instructions, and at least one surprise item.
All of my babies come wrapped in their blanket and securely enclosed in a plastic bag to protect them from the elements during their journey home.
I do require signature upon delivery for all of my babies.
Remember that reborns are works of art created by an individual and as such, is the artist’s self expression. Reborns are not meant to be factory “perfect” and may have what some consider imperfections. Reborns should not be given to small children and need to be handled with care.
