Gabriel Asleep (Lorraine Yophi) SOLE with COA…a drink and wet full vinyl reborn boy
Gabriel Asleep is a large preemie, like a near term baby about ready to come home from the hospital. He is 18 inches long and weighs 5 pounds 10 ounces. He has been made to drink water or faux formula made from sunscreen and distilled water and then wet his diaper. He has a full vinyl torso that is anatomically correct. He has a special bottle and pacifier made to fit into the tubing in his mouth. Although basically waterproof, he cannot be bathed due to the weighting materials and stuffing which cannot get wet. Care should be taken when to limit the dripping of water on his mouth area. Using a bib or burb cloth should be used. He has a detachable umbilical cord which magnets to place accordingly or remove as desired. Gabriel wears preemie size clothing and diapers. He is a SOLE (sold-out-limited edition) very special baby and his COA is included which lists him as #86 of 800 made. This COA is signed by the sculptor and artist. He has sparsely rooted scant newborn hair which is essentially bald. His coloring is various shades of newly born pink, reddish-blue, and pale flesh colors with much veining. His nails are realistically tipped but do not have moons as is typical for babies this age. He comes home with a hospital blanket and cap, his special bottle and pacifier, his detachable umbilical cord, extra diapers, and two new onesies. This baby is not a toy for a child; he is a collectible precious doll for adult reborn enthusiasts. He must be treated gently and dressed carefully. Never pick him up by the limbs or head.
