Peachtree Nursery welcomes adorable Hux Arcello. Hux is a limited edition sculpt "Huxley" by the talented Andrea Arcello.
Hux's skintone was achieved by painting many thin layers of Genesis heat-set paints. He has a mottled infant complexion that has been double sealed with a velvet-touch varnish. All of his cute little fingers, toes, and sweet spots have been lovingly blushed.
Hux also has the finest pale blue, handmade German glass eyes from Lauscha, Germany. They have such a depth and realism to them. I tried several pairs of eyes before I decided that this was the perfect pair.
Hux features a head of incredibly soft alpaca fiber in a gorgeous multi-hued strawberry blonde. His hair is rooted in a natural growth pattern. Nothing feels as close to the texture of real baby hair as alpaca.
Hux weighs approximately 8 lbs and is approx 22 in long. He was weighted using high quality fine glass beads. Each of his limbs is weighted evenly. His head is unweighted to allow him to sit up, but it can be weighted for a younger baby feel if desired.
The utmost attention was paid to Hux's details: moisture glistens on his eyelids, on his little nose and on his sweetly pursed lips. Hux's finger and toenails have been realistically shaded and satin glossed. Hux arrives snugly wrapped and and securely packed with both a day and a nightime outfit.
