It has been dark and gloomy in Michigan for several days and I was not able to get any good photos. I will post new photos as soon as I can. : ) UPDATE: Finally had some sun and was able to shoot a couple of nice, bright photos in natural sunlight. The darker photos were taken with indoor lighting, although it seems to show the true skintone of the baby.

*** PLEASE READ*** Laila has been drastically discounted because a while back I was trying a new technique with my hair painting and it did not quite turn out right. I guess I got a little over excited trying something new! I decided instead of starting over, since she has such a lovely skin tone, to finish her and reduce her price. She's been reduced to 1/2 of what I normally charge for my babies. This baby has the high quality supplies that are used in all my reborns, but since I was experimenting, the hair painting is not my best work. She is a beautiful sculpt and, and with her little headband, is quite lovely. She is ideal for the first time collector or a young person over 14. Many thin layers of permanent Air Dry acrylic paint were used to create a lovely ethnic skin-tone with light mottling, veining and capillaries added for realism. Laila has a basic hair style that has been painted in a lovely dark brown color (please read note above) with hand painted eyebrows to match. She has closed eyes with hand rooted eyelashes in a lovely dark brown shade of soft mohair that has been sealed on the inside. She has a soft, ethnic bi-racial colored doe suede body filled with poly fil and contained glass beads. Laila weighs 4 pounds, 6 ounces and is 18" long. She is soft and floppy just like a real infant so please support her head when you pick her up. Picking her up by the limbs or body only, or unsupported head can cause damage to the reborn. Baby has a magnetic pacifier and CAUTION should be taken around electronics and individuals with pacemakers. No sand is ever used in any of my babies. Laila will arrive with a sweet Carters 4 piece blue and pink kitty outfit, soft white hand knit booties, headband, extra diaper, COA and personalized birth certificate. She will also come with a soft, snuggly blanket and magnetic pacifier. Laila wears newborn clothing, just think of the fun you'll have shopping for this little sweetie. If you prefer a boy, I will send a boys' outfit, along with all of the other items stated above.
