Peachtree Nursery welcomes preemie Eloisa. Eloisa was sculpted by the wonderfully talented Andrea Arcello. She has full limbs and has been modified to take a full pacifier. Although opened, the rear of her mouth was sealed with an elastic fabric in a tone that mimics the inside of the mouth. She is photographed in a variety of outdoor and indoor lighting to give the most accurate representation that I can.
Eloisa's skintone was achieved by painting many thin layers of Genesis heat-set paints. She has a mottled newborn complexion. All of her cute little fingers, toes, and sweet spots have been lovingly blushed.
Eloisa features a head of baby soft alpaca fiber in a gorgeous multi-hued light brown. Alpaca fiber is the finest hair option available and is remarkably soft. It is the closest replica for human infant hair on the market. Eloisa's hair is rooted in a natural growth pattern that looks and feels true-to-life.
Eloisa has the finest German glass eyes hand-blown in Lauscha, Germany. Her eyes are "dark newborn" and have a subtle swirling about the iris. They have a wonderful depth and mimic the eyes of a newborn perfectly.
Eloisa weighs approximately 5lbs and is approx 17 in long. She was weighted using high quality fine glass beads in a secure pouch. Each of her limbs is weighted evenly. Her head must be supported just like a real baby's.
The utmost attention was paid to Eloisa's details: moisture glistens on her eyelids, on her little nose and on her sweetly parted lips. Eloisa's finger and toenails have been realistically shaded and satin glossed. Eloisa arrives in a lovely soft muslin blanket and an adorable sleeper.
