I will be glad to send you a "safety picture" so you know that I am the artist of the doll and it is in my possession.

Jasmine is NOT a silicone doll. She is vinyl with a cloth body. If you are new to purchasing a reborn doll and have any questions at all please contact me. My doll is not meant to be a play toy for a small child. Also, use care around pets that chew as doll limbs contain fine glass beads.

Up for adoption is my version of the kit, Jasmine by Wendy Dickison. It is 162/450 Limited Edition. The realism of this beautiful doll takes my breath away. Wendy has captured all of the fragile beauty of a newborn baby. I have spent countless hours bringing the doll kit to such a lifelike appearance. Please be aware that I DO NOT accept any returns on my dolls. If you have any questions at all about how Jasmine was painted, assembled or photographed please contact me.

JASMINE -SCULPTED BY WENDY DICKISON AND REBORNED BY LULLABY BABIES NURSERY (Jasmine was chosen as kit of the year at the Rose International Doll Expo 2019. She is a limited edition offered by Bountiful Baby. )

I have used only genesis heat set paints in creating Jasmine. These paints withstand the test of time and do not flake off or fade. The heat set paints bond with the vinyl. I wanted Jasmine to have the skin tones and complexion of a very newborn baby. I applied layer upon layer upon layer to build up skin tones and textures. I gave the doll precious realistic baby blushing, and many realistic details. She has delicate broken capillaries on her cheeks and eyelids. I gave her very subtle veining and delicate blue undertones.

While I did want Jasmine to have a blotchy newborn look her complexion did turn out so beautifully soft and fragile looking. This kit took paint beautifully and was sheer joy to work with. I fell in love with the chubby little double chins on her.

I gave sweet Jasmine delicate hand painted eyebrows. She was given delicate and realistic rooted eyelashes with high quality mohair. The delicate eyelids were given a coat of glazing gel to represent the look of a brand newborn. I gave this sweet little angel moisture on her lips and nostrils (which have been shaded for realism) and on the sides of her mouth. I loved the shape of this little doll's mouth. I chose to NOT give Jasmine any magnets to hold a pacifier. The back of the mouth protruded into the head and I didn't think it would fit safely and hold well.
I did fit Jasmine with a tummy plate painted to match her skin tones.

My choice of hair treatment for Jasmine was to give her a very wispy head of painted hair. It has taken me many hours to create such a realistic head of painted hair. I love painted hair on a newborn as it lays so close to the scalp. I created lots of swirly curls and gave her a swirly crown with a thicker bit on top. I love the effect I create when I take my paint brushes in hand to create a painted head of hair. My brushes have the fewest of bristles to give very fine strokes. I gave her lots of baby hairs running onto the face and hairline of the forehead. Please note the little bit of hair that I have circled. This small bit smudged a little bit upon drying. I was very pleased with the hair style but want to point this out.

Layette will include the certificate of authenticity. Please do let me know if you want all of the details filled in by me.

Jasmine has a high quality cloth body from Bountiful Baby. She has been weighted to feel like a real baby. I've used fine glass beads to weight her limbs with. Then sealed and glued them to prevent any leakage. I weighted her cloth torso with plastic poly pellets and high quality fiber fill. Her head was weighted with plastic poly pellets and high quality fiber fill. I never use sand in my dolls.

The doll has full length limbs. This allows for a larger selection of clothing for her. I've weighted her to feel like a real newborn. She poses beautifully and feels amazing to cuddle. Her head needs to be supported like that of a real baby.

My doll is not meant to be a play toy for small children. It should be handled and treated like a fine collectible. With care my doll will last for many years and can be handed down as an heirloom. Also, please be careful with the doll if you have any chewing pets as the limbs contain fine glass beads.

I gave Jasmine a most generous Layette filled with lots of darling clothing to get her started. I will also include a custom CERTIFICATE OF ADOPTION (please let me know upon payment if you would like a different name and also the name of the ADOPTING PARENT) I will include a care sheet with my suggestions for keeping the doll in pristine condition. The CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY will be included. No other props or items will be included.
