Baby Rex is lovingly created from the sculpt “Realborn Rebekah” by Bountiful Baby. A Realborn is created by using 3-D scan technology of a real infant baby to be created into a vinyl sculpt. The detail is amazing. Every little wrinkle and crease and fold.
This is a vinyl sculpt with full vinyl arms and legs of a doe suede fabric body. Baby is 20” and about 4.5 lbs, wearing size 0-3 clothing and Newborn or size 1 diapers.
Baby Rex was an experimental baby for me, as he has painted hair and rooted hair over it. You can see the painted hair underneath the rooted hair. The hair is not rooted as finely as I generally root the hair- each rooting hole has more than a single hair, not microrooted. . I have the hair wetted in some of the photos, I like the way it looks better when wet than dry on this baby. You can add a little hair gel when he gets home if you’d prefer.
