Offered in this listing is an adorable baby girl (Jo) created from the Realborn Joseph at 3 months sculpt. She is a big chubby baby that is about 23 inches long and weighs around 8 pounds. At this weight, she still feels heavy, but poses so much better than at a heavier weight. She has fair skin, with mottling, veining, blushing, and crease detailing. Areas of skin that are thin have been carefully shaded. Her nose has been shaded inside and a slight gloss added to all areas that typically appear moist such as the nostrils, inner ear, lips, and the corners of her eyes. Her nails have tiny tips painted and are sealed with a very subtle shine. She has medium brown painted hair, delicate painted brows, and rooted lashes that are sealed inside. The rest of her paint work has soft touch varnish to protect it and reduce the development of shine. There is a slight texture, but it is soft. I took pictures over the course of several days at different times, so you will see some difference in her skin tone in the photos.
This baby has full limbs, so is very fun to dress. She will wear 6-9 months in most brands. I loved shopping for this baby and selected soft colors and a delightful dress reminiscent of the flapper style of the roaring 1920’s. I collect vintage children’s clothing and she looked great in everything, but I am sending her with all new clothing items.She is weighted using fine glass beads that are enclosed and poly-fill. She does contain a strong magnet for her pacifier, so care should be taken around electronic devices especially pacemakers. Little Jo is an art doll and is not intended, nor safe for children.
